One person is dead and another person is seriously injured following a crash involving a dump truck Tuesday morning in Acton, Ont.
The collision happened around 8:40 a.m. at the intersection of Regional Road 25 and 32 Side Road.
Halton police say a dump truck travelling northbound on Regional Road 25 collided with a white Hyundai Elantra that was heading eastbound on 32 Side Road.
The driver of the Hyundai died of their injuries, while the passenger was taken to an out-of-region trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured.
Halton police’s Collision Reconstruction Unit is now investigating the crash due to the severity of the injuries.
The cause of the collision has not yet been determined.
