Norfolk youth charged after uttering threats: police

A 15-year-old Norfolk County youth has been charged after a threats investigation.

OPP officers said they responded on Sunday night at an undetermined location after receiving a report involving threats.

Detectives said an electronic exchange among a group of individuals included one person who made threats toward two others.

The individual was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.

The accused, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe at a later date.
