Norfolk OPP seek suspect after ‘suspicious incident’ involving minors

Ontario Provincial Police are looking to identify a suspect following a “suspicious incident” involving a group of students in Norfolk County last month.

Police were called to James Street in Delhi around 3:42 p.m. on Dec. 21 for reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Officers say a vehicle had approached a group of students when the driver invited them to enter the vehicle.

When the students declined to enter the vehicle, the suspect subsequently left the area in an unknown direction.

The driver is described as a white man with short gray hair who was driving a white Chevrolet Express van with tinted front windows and a noticeable black scratch along the passenger side.

OPP are now seeking the public’s assistance in the investigation that remains active and ongoing.
