School buses canceled in Fort Erie, Port Colborne, Wainfleet

Overnight snow and continued accumulation has led to the cancellation of school buses in Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet on Thursday.

The both District School Board of Niagara and Niagara Catholic District School Board say that while student transportation may be canceled in these areas, schools will remain open.

Thursday January 18, 2024:
Due to inclement weather, student transportation is cancelled today for all schools in Fort Erie, Port Colborne and Wainfleet, for:
– District School Board of Niagara @dsbn
– Niagara Catholic District School Board @niagaracatholic

Schools are open.

All after-school and late buses for the affected areas have also been canceled for the day. All other municipalities in the region will continue with regularly scheduled busing.
