No one injured after bus fire on Burlington Skyway bridge

Ontario Provincial Police say no one was injured after a passenger bus caught fire on the Burlington Skyway bridge.

At around 4:45 p.m. Thursday, authorities received reports of a passenger bus fire on the Skyway.

In an email to CHCH News, police say all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus and no one was injured.

As a result, the right shoulder and right lane of the Toronto-bound QEW were closed temporarily while emergency crews were on scene.

All lanes have since reopened.
