NBA All-Star weekend hits the 6ix

NBA All-Star weekend has arrived north of the border for the first time in its history. Tons of festivities on the scheduled which culminates with the All-Star game itself on Sunday. But there is so much happening just in time for the freezing temps to arrive.

Drake is already posting pictures, of him and Lebron James on Instagram to mark the occasion. He is coaching the Canadian celebrity team tonight along with Steve Nash and Jose Batista, while Kevin Heart is head coach for the USA celebrity team. Drake will also be honoured during tonight’s match. Toronto Mayor John Tory will be presenting the Raptor’s ambassador with a key to the city.

This morning at 6:23 am the pop up Jordan brand store opened its doors in Toronto and will be running 24 / 7 until Monday morning at 6:23 am. Why 6:23? To honour Air Jordan’s number 23. Only 23 people will be allowed in the store at a time and there are 23 floor staff dealing with those customers.
