Motorcyclist in critical condition

A motorcyclist has been seriously hurt after crashing into a field in West Lincoln around 8:30 last night.

Niagara Regional Police say the 35-year-old man from Smithville lost control on Smithville Road, near Caistor Gainsboro Townline Road.

Neighbours found the bike on fire about 200 metres off the road in a soybean field and called 911.

The man was airlifted to Hamilton General where he’s in stable but critical condition.
