McNaughton tells Niagara Falls families to be afraid

The Ontario Progressive Conservative party says families in Niagara Falls should be worried ahead of this week’s byelection. PC labour critic Monte McNaughton is accusing NDP candidate Wayne Gates of letting the interests of union leaders take precedence over working families in the region.
“We’re seeing this in Niagara Falls where the special interests are taking over, Sid Ryan (president of the Ontario Federation of Labour) has been very clear that they’ve sent over 700 special interest union members to the province to defeat Tim Hudak and the PCs. And families in Niagara Falls damn well deserve to know who is on their side, and it’s not the NDP or Wayne Gates.”
McNaughton says under the Wynne government, the region has lost over thirty thousand manufacturing jobs. The byelection for the Niagara and Thornhill ridings will be held on Thursday.
