Man wanted for hitting two pedestrians in St. Catharines arrested

A Welland man who was wanted for hitting two pedestrians in St. Catharines has been arrested.

Niagara Regional Police were called after two men in their 20s were hit by a vehicle last Thursday.

The driver was seen running off and getting into another vehicle.

 

Police say the crash was intentional.

Both men are recovering from their injuries.

Police had been looking for 21-year-old Gage Young since the crash.

Young was arrested Monday night in Niagara Falls.

He’s facing several charges including assault with a weapon, dangerous driving and theft.
