A former pro wrestler from Hamilton has plead guilty to conspiracy to commit murder, in a case involving rival gangs in British Columbia.

Ion Croitoru, also known as Johnny K-9, is one of five gang members who admitted offering to pay as much as $300,000 to kill their rivals.

Croitoru was also charged in the 1999 shotgun killings of Lynn and Fred Gilbank of Ancaster, but those charges were stayed in 2006.
