Hammer, knife used in Hamilton hold-up
Hamilton Police are searching for two suspects connected to a robbery that happened at a variety store near Dundurn and Herkimer last night.
Police say that just after 10 o’clock, two men entered the store and demanded that the female clerk empty her cash register. The suspects are said to have threatened the clerk, as one of men had a knife, and the other one had a hammer. Investigators say that victim complied, and was not injured.
The two men apparently fled in a four-door, late model car, similar to a Nissan Altima or Honda Accord.
The knife-wielding suspect is described as white, around 5’9″, with a thin build. He was wearing a black leather-type jacket, with a black hoodie underneath, black pants and black shoes.
The suspect with the hammer is described as white, around 5’8″, with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket with two white stripes on the front and back, and blue sweat pants with large white lettering from the waist to the knee.
