The Royal Botanical Gardens says it is participating in the Canada Strong Pass this summer, providing benefits for people until September.
Starting June 19, children ages 17 and under will receive free daytime garden admission and young adults aged 18 to 24 will receive half-price admission.
The pass applies to garden admission for all garden areas open on the day visited, including the garden’s upcoming ANCHORBALL: A Curious Art Journey exhibit at Hendrie Park, which opens June 20.
The Canada Strong Pass is not a physical pass, and attendees only need to go to the gardens to benefit, though a valid government ID may be required to verify eligibility.
The benefits of the Canada Strong Pass do not apply to separately ticketed special events, programs, group visits, membership purchases or to some exhibits.
“Summer in Ontario is one of the best times to enjoy the many unique cultural treasures and tourism experiences that make this province an exciting place to visit,” said Stan Cho, Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming in a statement. “With free and discounted admission for youth and young adults at world-class museums and one-of-a-kind attractions like Royal Botanical Gardens, this pass offers an excellent opportunity to explore this beautiful province with your friends and family.”
