The Royal Botanical Gardens says it’s participating in the Canada Strong Pass this holiday season. This means visitors under age 17 can visit the RBG for free, and visitors age 18-24 receive half-price admission.
“The holiday season is the perfect time to connect with family and friends while enjoying Ontario’s festive indoor and outdoor activities,” Tourism minister Stan Cho said in a statement.
“As Canada’s top travel destination, Ontario is home to some of our nation’s best cultural treasures and tourism experiences. With free and discounted admission for youth and young adults at our
world-class museums and attractions like Royal Botanical Gardens, there’s no better opportunity to explore our unique province with your loved ones.”
Pass prices apply to Garden Admission for garden areas open on the day of visit. Pricing adjustments are applied automatically when purchasing online or in-person.
“The holiday season is the ideal time to discover our museums with your families,” Canadian identity and culture minister Marc Miller said.
“The Canada Strong Pass makes moments like these accessible by offering free entry for children and discounts for young adults. This is a concrete way to invest in our country’s culture while helping Canadians reduce their expenses.”
