Halton police have seized two loaded firearms after an early morning traffic stop in Burlington last Wednesday.
It happened at around 4 a.m. when an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at the Petro Canada gas station located at the intersection of Walkers Line and Harvester Road.
Investigators say a man was alone in the vehicle and was wearing a face covering at the time of the traffic stop.
Police arrested the suspect for impaired operation and allegedly recovered various drugs and firearms when searching the vehicle.
Leslie Prince, 46, of Etobicoke is facing 20 charges including alleged possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine, oxycodone, Xanax and hydrochloride, as well as several firearm-related charges.
