Hamilton police arrested a man Thursday in connection with two armed robberies at a convenience store in the city’s east end.
Officers say a 39-year-old man from Hamilton armed with a knife was involved with robbing a local convenience store in two separate instances: once in December of 2025 and again on April 10.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a home in Hamilton’s east end Thursday in relation to these offences.
They say they found evidence relevant to the investigation there and the man was taken into custody.
Officers did not say if the same knife was used in both robberies.
Trevor Doiron has been charged with offences including robbery with an armed weapon or intimidation, robbery with intent to steal and two counts of disguising with intent.
Doiron has been held for a bail hearing.
