Halton police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing man who was last seen in Oakville on July 4.

Officers say 37-year-old Travers Jones was last seen on foot in the area of Queens Avenue.

Detectives describe Jones as a five-foot-nine tall Black man with a slim build, who was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, a black ballcap and black sneakers.

Investigators say Jones has previous ties to Kirkland Lake, Ont., and Nova Scotia, and may be travelling by foot, hitchhiking, or travelling by transit.
