On this holiday Monday people travelled to Niagara, making the drive seem more like Toronto traffic during rush hour.

Many people were out shopping, wine tasting and buying baskets of fruit.

Talk to people down in Niagara and they will tell you that you can’t leave Niagara without visit a local fruit stand.

By the first week of September growers will have picked, packed and sold more than 8 million baskets of peaches.
