A vocal demonstration outside Mississauga’s Oscar Peterson Elementary School today.

Close to 60 community members are questioning the safety of all students, after one family began receiving death threats by email.

One of four emails sent to Ashok Grewal targeted his daughter, and had a strong sexual tone.

Peel Regional Police found the emails were sent from inside the school, but so far the author hasn’t been identified.

For the safety of the Grewal children, police have suggested they not return to Oscar Peterson school. The board has offered to pay for them to go to a private school. But for now, the family is keeping their children home.
