If you like being dazzled by colours you might want to hit the road. This weekend fall colours are near their peak and across the golden horseshoe
mother nature is putting on quite a show.

Jeff and chelsea Jarman drove down to Niagara from Toronto just to get a glimpse of the leaves changing colours.

“We wanted to see how beautiful it was on the escarpment.”

They were snapping photos and hiking through the trails at Balls Falls with their dog Finnegan.

“The smell is the most beautiful part, absolutely. Reminds you of one’s childhood, that sweet smell of the fall.”

Not to mention the vibrant reds and oranges and yellows.

Wendi Hiebert drove in from Kitchener. “It was on our way to Niagara-on-the-lake, and we thought we’d check out the fall colours and check out the hiking trail here and see what it was like.”

From Balls Falls to Decew Falls, it’s sights are absolutely beautiful and because it’s been fairly warm in most places through Niagara we haven’t even seen peak yet.

Even though it’s the end of October there’s still a lot of green left on the trees. We probably won’t reach peak for another few days and the conservation authority in Niagara is the best place to see it.
