Cyclist killed in Milton

Halton Police are investigating a deadly traffic collision in Milton.

A 57-year old cyclist was riding in the eastbound curb lane of Main Street East near Wilson Drive last night, when he was hit from behind by a Buick Rendezvous. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 62 year Milton man driving of the Buick was not injured. It was dark and raining at the time of the collision.

The name of the cyclist will not be released.
