One person hospitalized after two-vehicle crash in Port Colborne

Ontario Provincial Police say one person was ejected after a serious two-vehicle collision on Highway 58 in Port Colborne on Monday.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says one person was ejected from one of the two vehicles. They were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.

Schmidt says a “few other people” had bumps and scrapes.

Highway 58 is closed between Barrick Road and Coronation Drive as investigators remain at the scene.

There is no word yet on when the highway will reopen.
