Crews battle multiple-alarm house fire in Hamilton’s east end
Crews battled a multiple-alarm fire at a home in Hamilton’s east end Wednesday afternoon.
A post on social media shows the Hamilton Fire Department responded shortly before 2 p.m. to a report of a structure fire at the home on Barnesdale Avenue North, just north of Barton Street East.
It was upgraded to a multiple-alarm fire just minutes later.
Video from the scene shows the blaze caused significant damage to the back of the three-storey home.
There’s no word yet on whether anyone was injured or the cause of the fire.
