Niagara police say a 69-year-old man has died after a wall collapsed at a residential demolition site in Vineland, Ont.

Officers say they were called to the scene at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.

Upon arrival, they found a 69-year-old man who was then transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities believe the house was being demolished at the time of the accident.

According to investigators, it is too early to say what exactly caused the wall to collapse.
