Chief for a Day

5 lucky grade six students got to be ‘Chief for the day’ as part of police week in Hamilton.

They were chosen after submitting an essay outlining how they’d make our community a safer place to live if they were chief. Students got to enjoy a tour of the station, a visit to the Chief’s office and a visit with the Hamilton police service’s mounted patrol unit.

The Hamilton police service has been celebrating police week for more than 30 years.
