Charges upgraded in Burlington stabbing

Halton police have upgraded the charge in a stabbing death in Burlington last week.

19-year old Calvin Green is now charged with first degree murder.

Green posted this photo to Facebook before his arrest; the two attended the same high school.

Debie was found dead in his Mountainside Drive apartment by one of his roommates.

Green was initially charged with second degree murder. But police say as a result of further investigation, they believe the stabbing was a deliberate, pre-planned act.
