Car and horse drawn buggy collision near Mount Forest

Ten people have been hurt, some seriously, after a car and a horse drawn buggy collided early Thursday morning near Mount Forest.

It happened on Highway 9 in Clifford. The injured in the buggy range in age from 2 to 45. Five were taken to Listowel Hospital and five to Palmerston.

Two were later transported by air ambulance to London and Hamilton. The driver of the car wasn’t injured, and police say the horse is ok.
