Visitation for Chris Snowball

A visitation was being held Thursday for a Burlington paramedic who was killed in an Ornge helicopter crash in northern Ontario.

Chris Snowball, 38, was in a chopper with another paramedic and two pilots when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Moosonee last Friday.

The visitation for Snowball was held at Smith’s Funeral Home in Burlington from three to five and again from 7 to 9 Thursday night. The funeral is Friday morning at the Compass Point Bible Church at 11.

There will be some road closures during the funeral tomorrow. Halton police say the North Service Road will be closed in both directions from Brant Street to Kerns Road, and Kerns Road will be closed in both directions from the North Service Road to Winterberry Drive. The closures will be in effect from 9:30 to about 11:15.

 

And Ornge will be holding a memorial service for all 4 individuals killed in the crash on June the 18th at Toronto Police College.
