Babies teach students empathy

Hamilton school boards celebrated their youngest teachers today.

They’re babies, who are part of a special program called Roots of Empathy. They go into classrooms with their care givers to teach students about kindness and empathy.

The program came to Hamilton in 2004 and this year 85 babies and 86 schools participated. Over the past 10 months, they’ve worked with over 2,000 students.
