California officials say El Dorado wildfire caused by gender reveal party

Officials say a gender reveal party has caused a growing wildfire in California.
The El Dorado fire in San Bernardino County is now over 7,000 acres.
Evacuations have been ordered for several communities.
Over 500 people have been deployed to fight the fire.
Cal Fire says the blaze started Saturday morning and was caused by a device that releases blue or pink smoke to announce the gender of an expected baby.
No charges have been laid but officials say those responsible for starting fires due to negligence or illegal activity can be held financially and criminally responsible.
This is one of dozens of fires burning in the state, amid record-breaking temperatures.
