Brantford police search for suspect in armed gas station robbery

Brantford police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an armed gas station robbery.

On Monday at around 11:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to a gas station at Colborne Street West and Oak Street after receiving a report of a robbery.

Investigators say it was reported that a male entered the store, displayed a knife and robbed the store for a small amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene before police arrived.

Detectives describe the suspect as a white male, who is around five-foot-eight, with an average build and blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.
