Bosma’s wife: ‘You don’t need him, but I do’
Updated Timothy Bosma’s wife made a tearful appeal for his safe return.
During a media conference at Hamilton Police headquarters, Sharlene Bosma said “it was just a truck. It was just a truck. You don’t need him, but I do. And our daughter needs her daddy back. So please let him come home. We need him home.”
Monday night Bosma told his wife he was going for a ride with a couple of men from Toronto in the truck he was trying to sell on Kijiji. Police don’t know if the suspects really are from Toronto or how they got to Bosma’s rural Ancaster home.
There’s been no sign of Bosma or his black Dodge Ram pick-up since then. Both suspects are white, and believed to be in their 20s.
One is about 6’1″, 175 pounds, unshaven with short, light brown hair. He was wearing jeans, a long-sleeved orange shirt and running shoes.
The second suspect is about 5’9″ with a small to medium build. He has dark hair and was wearing a red hoodie that was pulled up over his head.
Police are going door-to-door in rural Ancaster today, asking residents if they’ve seen Bosma or his truck.
If you’ve seen him, call Hamilton Police at 905-546-4930, or submit a tip to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
