Toronto Blue Jays GM Alex Anthopoulos, who helped build a team that ended its 22-year playoff drought, says the Jays offensive team is in tact going into next year.

Anthopoulos held the Blue Jays’ season-ending news conference at the Rogers Centre this morning.

“In terms of our starting nine we have control of all those guys, so I do not have any doubt we will have a strong offensive club. That said, we would not rule out any changes but I am not saying that is part of the plan. I think the thought would be to be more opportunistic,” he said.

Anthopoulos says the Blue Jays were a World Series calibre team this year, and the organization has become a recognized winning brand.
