Big tobacco seizure at Fort Erie bridge

One million dollars worth of contraband tobacco has been seized at the Fort Erie Peace Bridge.

Canada Border Services released these photos showing the tobacco in a shipment declared as corrugated boxes destined for a recycling plant.

They say they found 132 boxes filled with more than $14,000 kilograms of tobacco. Canada Border Services says this type of shipment is a threat to the security and health of Canadians.
