Arson caught on camera may be connected to killing of Windsor, Ont., woman: police

WINDSOR — Police have released surveillance video of an arson in Windsor, Ont., they say may be connected to the killing of a 45-year-old woman earlier this month.

Police have previously said they believe Nancy Grewal was intentionally targeted when she was apparently stabbed in the nearby community of LaSalle on March 3.

Grewal was a social media influencer and her death has prompted international media coverage.

Ontario Provincial Police, who are assisting LaSalle police with the investigation, released a video this weekend that shows a suspect lighting a fire on the front porch of Grewal’s Windsor home on Nov. 8, 2025.

OPP say Windsor police investigated the arson and followed all possible leads but a suspect has not yet been identified.

They say they are releasing the video in hopes someone will come forward and help identify the vehicle and the people involved.
