Angus crash kills Canadian Soldier

A two-vehicle accident southwest of Barrie has claimed the life of a Canadian soldier.

Forty-five-year old Master Corporal David Anderson died Friday afternoon when a pickup truck reportedly ran a stop sign and collided with an SUV in an intersection in the community of Angus.

Anderson was stationed at Canadian Forces Base Borden.

Police say charges are pending against the driver of the pickup.
