2 men sought after woman sexually assaulted, robbed in Toronto

Toronto police are searching for two men after a woman was violently dragged out of an elevator and sexually assaulted.

It happened around 12:45 a.m. Wednesday at a condominium near Bathurst St. and King St. West in Toronto.

Police say a 19-year-old woman was getting into an elevator when two men entered behind her.

One of the men tried to steal her cell phone but the woman managed to fight him off. Police say the man then pulled a gun on the woman and took her phone.

“She was then violently dragged out of the elevator and sexually assaulted in a nearby stairwell by both men,” said Toronto police in a news release.

The men fled to the underground parking garage and left the scene in an unknown vehicle.

Both suspects are described by police as black, in their twenties, with medium builds and roughly five-foot-eight to five-foot-ten.
