Variety store armed robbery

On May 18, just before 4:00am, Hamilton Police were called to an armed robbery that had just taken place at the variety store located at 210 Mohawk Road East.
When police arrived, the people involved in the robbery had already fled in a vehicle, so they began searching the area.
During the investigation it was revealed that two men entered the store and began making demands for cash and valuables from the employee inside.
One of the men was in possession of a gun and pointed it at the victim during the robbery.
The suspects took a small quantity of cash and other merchandise from inside the store before leaving.
They were then seen driving away in a Honda Civic that was later determined to be stolen from the Toronto area.
The employee was not physically injured during the robbery.
Police later located the vehicle abandoned in the area of Aberdeen Avenue and Longwood Road.
The vehicle has been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
Hamilton Police are looking for two men.
The first suspect is a male black with dark coloured skin, approximately 6’3″ with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket and black pants. The hood of the jacket was up. The suspect~appeared to be in his 20’s.
The second suspect is male black with dark coloured skin, approximately 5’10” with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket with the hood done up. He was also wearing light or grey coloured pants. The suspect appeared to be in his 20’s.
