1 person in custody after police investigation near Niagara Falls’ Clifton Hill
One person is in custody following a police investigation just minutes away from Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls Tuesday afternoon.
Officers said in a post on X around 12:15 p.m. that there was a heavy police presence in the area of Stanley Avenue and North Street.
People were told to avoid the area. But nearly 15 minutes later, investigators said the matter had been “resolved without incident.”
Niagara police have yet to share details on the nature of the investigation.
