The Christian Reformed Church has 300 congregations across Canada, Tim Bosma was a member of the one in Ancaster. Church members have set up an area of prayer across from the John Sopinka Courthouse and have committed to be out there from 10am until 4pm everyday until the verdict comes down.

The church members say the vigil isn’t only for the Bosma family, it’s also for the community, for the people of Hamilton who have grieved with the Bosma’s ever since Tim went missing in May of 2013. They also have the jurors in mind as they look back on all of the evidence to determine guilt or innocence. The members recognize it would be a tough position to be in and have said a prayer for the 6 men and 6 women who are still deliberating.
