Hamilton Bulldogs one win away from Eastern Final

The Hamilton Bulldogs are inching closer to the OHL’s Eastern Conference Final.

The team is just one win away from advancing after beating the Niagara Icedogs in a 4-2 game at the Meridian Centre in St. Catharines Wednesday night.

The Bulldogs scored three goals in the third period and take a 3-1 series lead.

Marian Studenic led the way with two goals, including the game winner.

Robert Thomas capped off the win by scoring on an empty-net with one second left in the game.

Game five puck drops Thursday night at the FirstOntario Centre at 7 p.m.
