Brampton teen charged in break-in and theft at Niagara Outlet mall

Niagara police have arrested a 15-year-old for allegedly stealing merchandise from the Niagara Outlet mall.

Police say about $20,000 in merchandise was stolen during an overnight break-and-enter at the Moose Knuckles store on Christmas Eve.

Damage to the store was estimated at $8,000.

Police say they found some of the stolen merchandise posted on Kijiji during the investigation.

That led detectives to a home in the area of Sandmere Ave. and Glenmanor Dr. in Brampton.

The 15-year-old is charged with break and enter commit theft, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and trafficking property obtained by crime.
