OPP investigates after plastic wrap stretched across bridge

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is urging witnesses to come forward after a “dangerous” incident in Perth County.

Investigators say sometime between 9 p.m. and midnight on Mar. 20, a large group of youths stretched plastic wrap across the bridge on Rd. 164 in West Perth.

Police were notified by a number of concerned citizens after several vehicles drove through the wrap.

There were no injuries reported and no vehicles were damaged in the incident.

The group fled before officers arrived on scene and were last seen walking on Blanchard St.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the individuals responsible.
