Hamilton police have arrested and charged two men following a homicide earlier this year.

Shortly before 6 p.m. on March 6, officers were called to the area of Tisdale St. South and Erie Ave. for reports of a man thrown from a black BMW.

The man was found laying on the road with a gunshot wound.

The victim was later identified as 39-year-old Shane Grenier of Hamilton.

Police said Wednesday 21-year-old Owen Nathaniel Silverthorne and Janeil Gordon of Hamilton are facing second-degree murder charges.

Both Silverthorne and Gordon are in custody.
