Police search for suspects after two arson incidents at Niagara Falls restaurant

Niagara police are asking for the public’s help in locating suspects allegedly linked to two separate arson incidents at a Niagara Falls restaurant.

In the early morning hours of Aug. 26, officers and fire crews responded to a report of a blaze at a Drummond Road restaurant, south of Dunn Street.

Crews say the fire was quickly extinguished and damage was mitigated.

The initial investigation determined the cause of the fire to be arson and two suspects were involved who arrived on motorcycles.

Investigators say the first suspect was last seen wearing a black sweater with a white shirt underneath, a grey motorcycle helmet, grey jeans, black shoes with a white trim and was driving a red motorcycle.

Detectives say the second suspect was last spotted wearing a black sweater, dark cargo pants, black shoes with a white trim, a blue helmet, a green backpack and was driving a black and neon yellow motorcycle.

Police say the same restaurant was the subject of a second arson in the early morning hours of Sept. 26.

Crews say the fire was quickly extinguished and the damage was mitigated.

Investigators say two suspects were involved again and the suspect descriptions were similar to the first incident as they arrived on a motorcycle, this time as rider and passenger.

The suspected rider in the second incident is described as a white male who was wearing a blue puffer jacket, black pants, black gloves, black shoes and an orange and silver coloured motorcycle helmet with a visor.

The suspected passenger is described as a white male who was wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, black shoes, white gloves and a black motorcycle helmet with a clear visor.
