Niagara police are asking for help identifying two men in connection with an aggravated assault in Niagara Falls near Pin Oak Drive last month.
Officers say they responded to reports of a disturbance in the area of McLeod Road near Pin Oak Drive at around 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 21.
There, they say they found a 23-year-old man with facial injuries, whom they then transported to hospital.
Investigators say the victim had been walking southbound on Pin Oak Drive, when he was allegedly confronted by a man driving a red Dodge Ram pickup truck, as it attempted to leave a business onto the road.
The victim was then allegedly struck several times with a closed fist, before the driver re-entered his vehicle and fled the area.
Detectives are looking for a tall white man, approximately 30 years old, who was last seen wearing a navy Blue Jay’s baseball hat, a grey t-shirt, dark pants and black sandals.
Police are also asking to help identify a passenger who was seen in the vehicle, in order to speak with them.
They describe the passenger as a white man, around 30 years old, with a short brown beard, who was wearing a black Blue Jay’s baseball hat, a black hooded sweatshirt, green sweatpants and white sandals.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 905-688-4111, option 3, ext. 1009817.
