Football player Isaiah Petryk-Orr named September’s CHCH Rising Star Athlete

The CHCH Rising Star Athlete of the Month for September is Isaiah Petryk-Orr.

The honour roll student from Hamilton’s Cathedral High School led the Burlington Stampeders rep football team to multiple provincial championships and was the MVP of Team Ontario’s football team.

Last year, Isaiah transferred to St. Paul’s prep school in Concord, New Hampshire, where he excelled on the field and in the classroom and became the only player on his team to be named a first team all-star during his junior season.

Isaiah is drawing interest from NCAA Division I programs regarding scholarship opportunities, including several Ivy League schools.

He loves the CFL and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, and hopes to wear the black and gold one day.
