Man dead at Binbrook Conservation Area after kayak capsized

A 64-year-old Hamilton man died after his kayak capsized at Binbrook Conservation Area.

Emergency crews discovered this on Wednesday during their search at the park for a missing seven-year-old boy.

Crews pulled the man from the water and transported him to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have confirmed this is an unrelated incident and the death is not considered suspicious.

A significant emergency presence remains at the park as the search for the child continues.
