One person has died after an early morning fire in Lincoln Wednesday, which also caused significant damage to three neighbouring homes.

It happened at around 5 a.m., fire crews arrived to find a residence in flames.

The Office of the Fire Marshall is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Niagara Police say they are also investigating the incident.
