A teen driver and two passengers walked away with minor injuries after driving off the escarpment early Friday morning.

Police say the crash happened at 1 a.m. in the area of Mountain Brow Boulevard and Fennell Avenue.

According to investigators, the cause of the crash was due to foggy weather conditions – leading the “inexperienced” driver to miss the stop sign and continue heading east bound on Fennell Avenue through the intersection.

The vehicle then went through a barrier, going over the escarpment and down 100 feet.

Authorities say all three occupants in the vehicle walked away with minor injuries and were not taken to hospital.

Police say all three were “youths” and have not provided their ages. Officers are also not aware of any charges.
