Daughter ‘desperate’ to find missing 72-year-old Grimsby man last seen Saturday

The daughter of a missing Grimsby man said she’s desperate to find her 72-year-old father, who was last seen Saturday evening.
Alisha Rullo said she’s worried something bad may have happened to her father Wolfgang Glaser, as she and her friends and family say it’s not like him to go silent and disappear.
She said Glaser is a man of routine, and does the same thing every day, only this past Saturday he didn’t return home.
In a state of disbelief, Rullo organized 1,200 flyers for her missing father, as she recounted what her father did Saturday evening.
“He goes to Rikochez Bar and Grill on Ontario Street in Grimsby, from about two to about four o’clock [p.m.],” said Rullo. “He then goes to Teddy’s [Sports] Bar on Main Street from four to about six, sometimes a little later.”
Niagara police say Glaser was seen leaving Teddy’s at around 7 p.m.
Maria Cobham, the bar manager at Teddy’s Sports Bar, said Glaser is a regular.
Cobham wasn’t working the night Glaser went missing, but she spoke with coworkers that were.
“He was in good character, he was looking for some Swiss Chalet, so the gentleman gave him instructions on where the Swiss Chalet was,” said Cobham. “The three or four people I spoke to, who did speak with him, say he was in good spirits when he left.”
Police say Glaser’s car, a silver 2007 Mazda5 hatchback with Ontario license plate “CYPA 061” was seen on surveillance footage 10 minutes after he left the bar.
It was near the Niagara Gateway Information Centre by the QEW and Casablanca Boulevard.
“There is major damage to the back driver’s-side fender,” said Rullo. “I have had Swiss Chalet go through footage, and he is not seen in either the dining room, or the drive-thru, so we cannot confirm that he went there.”
Glaser is described as a white man with brown and grey hair and white facial hair.
He was also last seen wearing grey pants and a blue shirt with “REDUCE, REUSE, RETHINK” printed on the back.
Glaser also uses a cane to walk.
Niagara police told CHCH News Wednesday they have received tips, but they have proven fruitless – detectives say they are concerned for Glaser’s health.
Now, Rullo can only hope someone, somewhere has seen him.
“I have an army of amazing people on foot in Hamilton and Grimsby, and all over southern Ontario, trying to get the world out,” said Rullo. “He is an amazing man, he is the grandfather to my children, and he is my father, and I want him home, more than anything in the world.”
Anyone with information is being asked to come forward and contact police.
In the meantime, Rullo is also asking anyone who may be willing to collect flyers and hand them out to visit the Facebook page, “Wolfgang Glaser Search.”
